This program is designed to deeply engaging with the unique cultural heritage and traditions.

You would stay in a beautiful accommodation in the heart of San Juan La Laguna, the program includes learning Spanish language and participating in many different activities.

This immersive experience includes:

Accommodation in the heart of San Juan La Laguna: we will host you ina beautiful mini cabin or a Private Room. Enjoy the mornings in the village with a traditional Guatemalan breakfast with organic fresh coffee; and many other different options of vegetarian and no vegetarian meals for lunch and dinner.

One-on-One Spanish classes: our Spanish teacher tailors the lessons specifically to your learning style, pace, and goals and engaging in conversations with locals for a deeper connection and understanding.

Cultural Ceremony: joining us in a traditional Fire Maya ceremony, or any other ceremonies and festivities (1st of November: Day of the Dead (Día de los Muertos; or the Santiago Atitlán Maximón, Semana santa. A profund first-hand experience of spirituality and worldview of the Mayan culture.

Social and outdoor activities to your preference: kayaking, hiking, walks in the forest, paddleboard or camping.

Participating in Traditional Cooking class and demonstrations: optional. You choose between a cooking class or many different demonstrations: honey/bees, coffee tour, natural dying textiles, cacao or medicinal plants.

Understanding Social Structures: observing and understanding the social structures within the community, including traditional leadership roles and kinship systems, and how these influence daily life and decision-making.
